Projector Project

This is how my photos from the practical turned out. I picked out my favourite shots to show on this post, I'm going to make another for all my shots.

It was a good choice. The only other editing i did was changing the shadows, midtones and highlights so they were balanced evenely.

The task was to create images by using a projector and a choice of picture for the overlay.
I used a Canon DSLR camera for this shoot. I was going to use a tripod, but i needed more freedom with the camera, I didn't use one in the end.

Because we were in the dark, I had to switch my camera to manual mode. I then boosted the In camera ISO for extra exposure in the images.

While editing the photos, I did two batches, I made one in colour and the other in black and white. I decided to go with the black and white because i thought the colours were too distracting in the original.

It was a good choice. The only other editing i did was changing the shadows, midtones and highlights so they were balanced evenely.

I love the texture and the patterns in the images. In some of the images i took, I used rule of thirds to even out the shots too.
I think turning them to black and white really gave the images a better look to them, More creative looking.

I think next time i could maybe be more creative with poses and use colours a different way in the next. shoot.

My Photography

Hi, I'm Harry. I live in Middlesbrough. I'm doing photography at Prior Pursglove. I like to think i'm really creative about what i do. I love photography and like the freedom that comes with the work. I enjoy editing the photos more than taking them to be honest. https://www.pexels.com/@kicktheredhead The fact that you can take a photo in different angles and different locations and come out with a great shot every time is absolutely incredible to me. My initial love for taking photos came from watching a Canadian photographer called Peter Mckinnon. He has a specific style which is very Punchy but moody. I loved that style, a lot of the shots I take now are in the same style. My first photo shoot was with my friend, Morgan. The shot below is from Last year. We were walking through Ormesby woods then the light changed pretty fast to this golden orange colour. We loved messing around with the shadows and silhouettes. My friend, Morgan. Final Project Inspiration

I have used multiple objects in my final project that are also used in the inspiration. I used Photoshop to manipulate the original image and create a sequence with the sun and moon. They have used a long exposure on their DSLR with a tripod to provide a bright and stable image. They also edited the images to make it even brighter and sharper as there will have been lots of noise in camera.

How I created my Final Project

I began by using my DSLR and a tripod to shoot a video of myself doing different poses that I had planned. I imported the video to my phone and took pictures of the poses I liked.  I sent the photos to my laptop and opened Photoshop. I first made the landscape I wanted by using images I found online. It meant I had an original I could go back to if there were any mistakes.   I then opened up the first image of me, masked myself out and dropped myself in the landscape image. I did the same steps here for each image. Now I had all my images for the sequence, I could start adding details, such as the moon, shadows, light, trees, and the Ladder.  After I had blended the images and details to make it more realistic, I added the light. I used a soft brush and gently added it in and painted in the shadows.  Next thing I did was cropping the images. I wanted to have certain crops to draw the eye to the subject more. So I changed some into a 16:9 Ratio. It made them loo...
