Three final ideas

Idea 1: Narrative Sun shots

I plan to create a story through the use of the sun and a subject person.
I will take six photos for this.

1. Simple image of the sunset.
2. Me walking to the middle of the frame and standing there.
3. I reach out and hold the sun in my hand.
4. My brother walking to the middle of the frame from the opposite side and standing in the middle.
5. I hand him the sun as the sun lowers.
6. We both walk separate ways out of frame.

I need a tripod, my DSLR and my phone so I can see on my phone what is in view through and app.

I also need my Brother to be a subject in the sequence.

Idea 2: Bird in the air

I want to capture a bird as it is in motion flying through the air. Capturing the freedom and motion of the bird.
This will also be six images.

1. The bird sat on a railing with a calm background.
2. The bird as it is taking off.
3. The bird as its flapping its wings to take off.
4. Eagle eye view of the bird in the air as it is flying freely.
5. The bird as it settles down on another railing .
6. Back to the beginning.

I really want to capture while it is sitting, then flying, then sitting at a nearby location that it has moved too.

For this I wont need a tripod as it will be a moving subject. And i need a bird.

Idea 3: What i carry on my daily walk

I want to do a flat lay photograph of what I carry on a daily walk. For example things like a mask and hand gel, to show our new normal life that we lead.
This will be one big image and three little images
(Macros of certain things I carry)

1. The flat lay of everything I carry. (Big image)
1. The fabric of my mask (To show the normality of wearing one now)
2.The texture of my phone (As I take a lot of images with my phone), Shows what I like to do.
3. Maybe the hand gel I carry

For this I will need a tripod so I can take the still image of the flat lay. and a blanket or textured cloth as the background.

Final Project Inspiration

I have used multiple objects in my final project that are also used in the inspiration. I used Photoshop to manipulate the original image and create a sequence with the sun and moon. They have used a long exposure on their DSLR with a tripod to provide a bright and stable image. They also edited the images to make it even brighter and sharper as there will have been lots of noise in camera.

How I created my Final Project

I began by using my DSLR and a tripod to shoot a video of myself doing different poses that I had planned. I imported the video to my phone and took pictures of the poses I liked.  I sent the photos to my laptop and opened Photoshop. I first made the landscape I wanted by using images I found online. It meant I had an original I could go back to if there were any mistakes.   I then opened up the first image of me, masked myself out and dropped myself in the landscape image. I did the same steps here for each image. Now I had all my images for the sequence, I could start adding details, such as the moon, shadows, light, trees, and the Ladder.  After I had blended the images and details to make it more realistic, I added the light. I used a soft brush and gently added it in and painted in the shadows.  Next thing I did was cropping the images. I wanted to have certain crops to draw the eye to the subject more. So I changed some into a 16:9 Ratio. It made them loo...

Experimental Photography Essay

Experimental photography Is using non-traditional techniques In photography. It includes digital editing, using a darkroom with alternatives, using your camera settings differently or making collages. Alternative process means and refers to any non-traditional or non-commercial photographic printing process. A pinhole camera is a simple camera without a lens but with a tiny aperture. It Is a light-proof box with a small hole on one side. Light passes through and projects an inverted image on the opposite side of the box, Well known as the camera obscura effect. Alan Thoburn is a well-known photographer who uses a pinhole camera. I like how creative the style is, Especially the photos in black and white. The image of a pinhole Camera may be projected onto a translucent screen for real-time viewing, But it is more often used with photographic film or photographic paper. A common use of a Pinhole camera Is to capture the motion of the sun over a long period of time. This type of Phot...
