Bird Sequence

For this shoot I captured six images. I only used five, as the last one was partially out of frame, and I thought five images would be enough. I like the fact that the first image of the bird is a tiny bit shaky, and as you continue on, the images get clearer and sharper.  I shot these pictures handheld with my DSLR. I then imported them into Photoshop and masked out each image onto the original background image. This is the end result. Feedback: Adele, " immaculate editing on the bird one " Rachel, " the bird photoshoot looks so professional. Your photoshop skills are excellent. " " bird photo - positive and negative space - shape of bird against plain background " Beth, " the bird one is my favourite i think only because i thought it was one picture "

Baking Sequence

Feedback: Rachel, " I love the baking photos in particular, the black and white works exactly as you say - too much colour would be over whelming - this is perfect as it is stark and grabs your attention. Lots of positive space and lines in the first photo makes for a superb picture. " Adele, "  love that he used black and white for the baking, definitely adds a better overall look to the sequence " Abby, " Black and white really go with the images .. i love how detailed they are well done harry " Sophie, " Excellent work Harry. Your use of composition in both shoots is brilliant. You have thought about your use of colour and I think the desaturation of the images really helps with the emotions of the shots. "

Three final ideas

Idea 1: Narrative Sun shots I plan to create a story through the use of the sun and a subject person. I will take six photos for this. 1. Simple image of the sunset. 2. Me walking to the middle of the frame and standing there. 3. I reach out and hold the sun in my hand. 4. My brother walking to the middle of the frame from the opposite side and standing in the middle. 5. I hand him the sun as the sun lowers. 6. We both walk separate ways out of frame. I need a tripod, my DSLR and my phone so I can see on my phone what is in view through and app. I also need my Brother to be a subject in the sequence. Idea 2: Bird in the air I want to capture a bird as it is in motion flying through the air. Capturing the freedom and motion of the bird.  This will also be six images. 1. The bird sat on a railing with a calm background. 2. The bird as it is taking off. 3. The bird as its flapping its wings to take off. 4. Eagle eye view of the bird in the air as it is flying freely. 5....
